Batch #007 Educational Visit

Our student pilots recently enjoyed an educational visit to the Air Traffic Control (ATC) – CAAM Ipoh and the Ipoh Meteorological Office (MetIpoh). This tour broadened their perspectives and deepened their understanding of aviation, providing a unique opportunity to explore the crucial roles these services play in the sector.

Random Drug Screenings At BATS Aviation

In alignment with the requirements outlined in CAAM Civil Aviation Directive 6007 – Operator Alcohol and Drug Testing Programme (CAD 6007 – ADTP), pursuant to Regulations 99 and 204 of the Malaysian Civil Aviation Regulation (MCAR) 2016.

Last week, we conducted random drug screenings at our designated panel clinics to comply with BATS Aviation Policy on Smoking, Consumption of Alcohol, and Psychoactive Substances for both our student pilots and instructors. The objective of this program is to enhance BATS Aviation's current efforts in maintaining a safe, healthy, and productive work environment. This is achieved by providing BATS Aviation employees with the necessary knowledge and tools to understand the risks associated with drug use.

We extend our gratitude to all participants for their cooperation and positive feedback on this Alcohol and Drug Testing Programme initiative.

Program Ziarah Korporat 2023

BATS Aviation berbesar hati menerima jemputan daripada Majlis Agama Islam dan Adat Melayu Perak (MAIPk) atas program Ziarah Korporat 2023 yang bertemakan ‘Korporat Bersama Asnaf’.
Kami berpeluang berdiri bersama pihak MAIPk dalam perjalanan mereka untuk berinteraksi dengan komuniti asnaf di sekitar Daerah Larut Matang dan Selama. Program selama dua hari yang dirasmikan oleh Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif MAIPk, Shahrul Azam Shaari, melibatkan badan-badan korporat, syarikat-syarikat berkaitan kerajaan, dan organisasi lain dalam pengagihan bantuan kepada mereka yang memerlukan.
Semoga dengan adanya peluang ini, dapat terus memperkukuh hubungan baik antara BATS Aviation dan pihak MAIPk serta membawa manfaat yang berkekalan.

Joint venture agreement with Universiti Kuala Lumpur - Malaysian Institute of Aviation Technology (UNIKL MIAT)

On 24th May 2023, BATS Aviation Sdn Bhd (BATS), has entered into a joint venture agreement with Universiti Kuala Lumpur - Malaysian Institute of Aviation Technology (UNIKL MIAT) for the Commercial Aviation Pilot Training Landscape Project Programme.
This program provides diploma and degree qualifications in Flight Operation Management. It aims to prepare pilots for the competitive aviation industry by combining academic institutions, training organizations, and policymakers. The collaboration between BATS and UniKL MIAT will produce pilots with both strong aviation skills and business management knowledge.
